I have all 18 Sunflower blocks made and they just need to be trimmed.
I have 438 Flying Geese made and have started sewing them into sashing strips.
I need to make some little four patches for corner stones.
My OMG (One Monthly Goal) for March is to have a top assembled similar to the one above except the side pieces will be scrappy and not all one color. I have a few small pieces I can use but nothing big enough to go all the way around. I think that will be just fine since the block backgrounds are all scrappy.

Whoa! This is a really fantastic project. You've put so much work in already, can't wait to see it on the other end of the month!
Another beautiful project.
Wow! That is an incredible number of pieces in that quilt! Love the fabrics you have used. Are they civil war reproduction?
That sunflower block is so pretty! I'm looking forward to see all you've made put together! ---"Love"
You are very ambitious! That quilt looks just as intricate (and beautiful) as Blind Man's Fancy.
Very pretty! Thanks for linking up with Elm Street Quilts One Monthly goal and good luck with your project!
A wonderful project! I love the way you are going to put it all together!
Just the sunflower blocks or just the flying geese are monumental feats - both together add up to a magnificent quilt! Go you!
What a gorgeous project to work on in March! Good luck. I'm cheering you on. :)
This looks like a fabulous project and I am looking forward to seeing how it turns out. Those blocks are so intricate and beautiful and oh so many flying geese.
