With all that's been going on here I had fallen behind with my Old MacDonald Mystery Sampler blocks - a fun Block Lotto mystery sampler designed by Sophie.
I think I'm now caught up. These are the alternate July Spikey Blocks I'm using in my sampler because I just couldn't seem to get the hang of the curved ones...
...even though I tried them (and sent them to the July Lotto winner).
Split Nine Patches - They were the August Block Lotto block.
They are my Purple Mountain Majesties for the sampler.
As are these on sky background.
As a side note...I won 48 of these Lotto Blocks!
In September our Old MacDonald Sampler needs two barn doors. Here's mine.
And here's my 9 September Barn Door Blocks to enter into the drawing. Maybe I'll win two months in a row? Or not! (I love these!)

Really really like your spikey block alternates. Congrats for winning those split 9-patches - they'll make a wonderful quilt. And you have your barn doors made already - wow!!
Your color choices are so exciting! It is so much fun to win blocks - congratulations!
Your spikey leaf variety is great. Fun colors throughout your projects. Thanks for the eye candy!
Yea! So happy that you won! I need to get making my Barn Door blocks!
Hurray for your win! (I'm already looking forward to seeing your quilt using those blocks!)
Barn Door would make a good RSC block, wouldn't it? Hmmm...
Beautiful, colorful, blocks, super.
Love your spikey blocks! AND.... your barn doors. I'm tempted to join in!
Really like your spikey blocks alternates, I think I will copy you for mine ;)
I like your spikes - very striking - and love those barn door blocks, especially the two you are keeping for yourself.
I tried the spike blocks and failed. (Sophie says "no guilt," but I do like to be a good sport.) Your alternate looks much easier. I know you made the Mod-Mod sampler a couple of years ago -- good for you for making Old MacD! I know you'll come up with a nifty setting for the Purple Mountain blocks.
