It's a finish!
I've seen the block called St. Bridget's Cross, Whirligig and Windmill.
8 inch blocks made from 2.5 inch width scraps
40 x 56
I quilted it with spirals in lime green thread on my Brother DSM.
The backing is lime green with pink dots. And the binding is a pink/purple/green stripe.
And sew on...
Very jazzy quilt- all done, yay!
ReplyDeleteAnother great finish,Cathy. Your choice of fabrics for the blocks really work well to show up the Whirlygigs. Love the backing.
ReplyDeleteIn her post today Bonnie posted a photo of her top with that same block. Are you both reminding me that I have a box of those blocks from my RSC 2022 and that I need to do something with them?
ReplyDeleteInteresting easy blocks, and they look so nice using different colours for the background.
ReplyDeleteCongrats, Cathy on finishing another lovely quilt. I usually quilt with white or black thread. I should try other colours more often. It adds sparks from up close I know, but by force of habit, I reach for white. I'm sure lime is really nice on this colourful quilt. Love the back too. Enjoy! ;^)
ReplyDeleteSuper great finish!!!!
