Three More Finishes!

Three Comfort Quilts of Horizon Blocks
Each quilt finishes at 40.5 x 57

If you'd like to know more about quilts refer to a previous post when I finished the tops back in July 2022.

All were quilted with spirals and swirls on my DSM.

This month the theme here in my sewing room is KIDS so I'm trying to finish as many donation quilts for kids as I can.  But now I'm kind of tired of quilting so am going to work on moving some partial block sets forward to tops then will go back to quilting again.

I'm going to be busy the next few days visiting with family coming from out of town to attend the visitation and services for my brother-in-law who passed away a few days ago so probably won't get much sewing done and will probably be offline until Saturday.

  3. There's nothing wrong with the blocks as is, but l am wondering what they might look like if you flipped every other one. Would that give it some movement? Have you tried that yet? I am just curious.

  4. I like the version where you flip every other block so there is no single straight horizontal line across the quilt - seems more fun to me. Best wishes as you navigate another family gathering caused by a funeral.

Horizon blocks are a cute way to use novelty prints. Cheery quilts for kids.
