It's a Dandy!
I finished the quilt top back in April. When I have finished the hand quilting and binding it will be sent off as a Quilt of Valor to a friend of my husband's who is a Vietnam Veteran.
I'm doing big stitch hand quilting wither perle #12 and #8 in a variety of different reds and blues.
I don't have air conditioning in the house but I do have it in the camper. I'm going to be leaving tomorrow on a camping trip so this quilt will be making the trip with me.
I'll be missing you while I'm gone next week!
Your Quilt of Valor certainly is a "Dandy". Gosh, it is fabulous! How nice you are going on a camping trip and you can work away on this lovely quilt with the air conditioner on full throttle. Have a lovely trip.
ReplyDeleteAnd we'll be missing you, too, Cathy--this is a perfect take-along piece to work on...have a safe and wonderful getaway;))) hugs, julierose
