I've been hand quilting my Love at First Sight log cabin cabin quilt.
I've been big stitching with perle #12 and perle #8 that I had on hand in red, white and black. The log cabins consist of lots of red, white and black 1 inch width scraps sewn around a little 3 inch nine patch. I've been quilting down the center of the strips and quilting an X in the white squares of the nine patches. I would say I may have finished quilting half of the 74 x 82 inch quilt.
Beautiful!! It gives me another idea for my Tiny Nines. Because... All these years later, I still haven't decided what I will do with them!!

ReplyDeleteHow clever of you to put nine-patches in the center. They work well with your narrow logs. I love your value division, too. Red and black/red and white. Yummy!
