From brown 3.5 inch scraps I made a few six inch Bow Tie blocks...
...and some three inch Snowballs (with flippy corners that won't behave nicely for a photo).
I also cut out the last of my Glitter blocks from 3.5 inch scraps but haven't started sewing on them yet.
Oh my favorite color when it comes to quilts! You accomplished a lot!
ReplyDeleteLots of wonderful BROWN scraps found their way into your blocks!!
ReplyDeleteI do love looking at your interesting collection of scraps. I presume you have already got stashes of other bow ties and snowballs this size?
ReplyDeleteThe bow ties look great in brown.
ReplyDeleteI think your blocks are lovely.
ReplyDeleteI really like that dark brown fabric with the blue circles. Looks like ripples on a dark pond! Is that a batik?
ReplyDeleteI see a new quilt in your future called "non-compliant snowballs"!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great assortment of browns you have, very nice.
ReplyDeleteI like all your different brown scraps! You have so many interesting prints that add a lot of interest to your scrappy quilts.
ReplyDeleteYou have so many wonderful scrappy bits. I like to play 'I Spy' with your scraps to see if we have any the same. Yup - we have the brown with blue circles. :)
