I'm declaring my OMG (One Monthly Goal) for June. It is to finish my String Star quilt top.
I don't have a design wall so I just pinned up a little bit of it on the wall behind my sewing machine. I'm not even halfway finished with the top.
I've had the strings all sewn together and cut into star points for a long time. I think this is the month they will turn into stars! ALL of the strings used were from the scrap bag. I didn't cut a single piece of fabric to make new strings.

Lovely work on the string stars--the black makes them pop hugs, Julierose
ReplyDeleteI love your stars! It's going to be a glorious quilt! (And I've just added another quilt to my bucket list...)
ReplyDeleteThose are great! To make them do you sew your strings into strip sets and then cut with a triangle ruler? They make such pretty stars!
ReplyDeleteIt's Lovely ! Can you do a tutorial on how you made them? I will like to make one too but can see how to cut them
ReplyDeleteThanks
Marta
