I have completed nineteen nine inch Tulip quilt blocks.
And now I have a total of 56.
I'm ready to make them into a quilt top if I can find where I put the rest of the Kona Snow I need for sashing.
Speaking of snow...it is...snowing...again.
It will be awhile before I see any real tulips.
These are even better than real ones! I had one clump of daffodils that started blooming and thats when we got sleet twice and now they are buried in six inches of snow. Very unusual for us to get that much. Stay warm and enjoy your stitching.
ReplyDeletethanks for the pix of tulips--hopefully live tulips won't be long ...though more cold and snow coming here, too. I love that old pattern..very nice fabrics hugs, Julierose
ReplyDeleteThese are WONDERFUL!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI love your parings of fabrics here! It really draws the eye in to look more closely at each pairing.
ReplyDeleteI love your blog as you are always updating it with something wonderful for us all to feast our eyes on! Your sewing is just fab and quite inspiring!
I also love it when you say that you don't worry about rules, or you don't stress about not having a design wall , because stress has no place in your sewing/quilting! its a great attitude to have :) and share :)
love, love, love the blocks!!! can't wait to see how you will set them!
ReplyDeleteThis is the second set of tulip blocks I have seen in the past hour. Everyone is wishing for Spring. They are lovely and will make a beautiful quilt. Thanks for linking to WIPs Be Gone. I love seeing your eye candy.
ReplyDeleteI love your sweet tulips Cathy!
