It's a top!
Wonky Windmills
56 x 72
I used lots of gray scraps for the backgrounds.
And I used lots of pink and black scraps in the making of the 8 inch blocks.
Each block takes four 4.5 x 5 rectangles - two each of background and pink or black.
I made a lot of different Wonky Windmill blocks in all colors of scraps as one of my Rainbow Scrap Challenge (RSC) projects last year. I divided the blocks into 4 groups for four comfort quilts - this pink and black, geometrics, florals and novelties. The novelty one has already been finished and donated.
And sew on...
And now for more photos from my gardens.
Cute quilt. You really captured some wonderful flower photos!
ReplyDeleteYour pictures are stunning. The colour is so bright and the images so sharp - does this mean you sorted out all your computer problems? Keep up with your quilting, gardening and photography. You put me to shame.
ReplyDeleteFantastic flimsy! I wanna come walk through your gardens :-)
ReplyDeleteWow, the pollinators have found a happy home in your garden. We finally got .4" of rain last night, so some of the wilted plants have perked up.
