Monkey Wrench
It's a finish!
40 x 50
Throughout 2022 and 2023 one of my Rainbow Scrap Challenge (RSC) projects was Monkey Wrench blocks in three different sizes made with scraps in the color of the month. This one has 10 inch Monkey Wrench blocks in warm colors.
I quilted it very simply with vertical lines.
The backing and binding.
The theme this month in my sewing space is March Madness (Quilting) Marathon. I'm going to concentrate on finishing up a lot of the small tops I have in the TBQ (to be quilted) pile. They will then be donated to:
And sew on...

CELEBRATE! (my word of the year)
March 6 - Celebrated the finish of another historical fiction book - Out Of The Dust by Joyce E. Patterson. Families struggle through the Dust Bowl, Depression and World War II and then live happily ever after.
Love, love the cherry monkey wrench. Reminds me of a picnic on the back. Sure could use a picnic.
ReplyDeleteI like the way Monkey Wrench changes depending on where the lights and darks are...nice work on this hugs, Julierose
ReplyDeleteThe last 4 quilts have been so beautiful. Such great colors. Inspiring me to finish something. HAHA
ReplyDeleteMy goodness, another wonderful quilt! I think you are a magician, Cathy, the quilts keep popping out, like rabbits from hats!
ReplyDeleteI was just thinking yesterday how much I enjoy yellow, red, and orange together in a quilt. Nice work.
ReplyDeleteOooohhh, these quilts are going to be so loved. They are going to bring a lot of love and comfort.
