It's A Flimsy!

It's a flimsy!
60 x 78

It's kind of weird how things just seem to work out.  A few weeks ago someone with the Stashbusters Group posted a link to a scrappy quilt at Wedding Dress Blue.  At around the same time Wanda (Exuberant Color blog)  sent me a couple of baggies of some 2 inch floral squares.  And I had my own big baggie of 2 inch squares.

I also had some odds and ends of neutral scraps. So, I made a quilt top that was meant to be!

This is another quilt that, when finished, will probably go to someone in the hospital or hospice. This type of quilt has a lot to look at. A fun I spy game to amuse patient and visitors no matter what age.

It's fun to see what shows up amongst all the flowers. Backgammon anyone?

I spy gumdrops, M & Ms, buttons, anchor, apples, cards, Santa...
...and sew on...

  14. I love this one. This is the kind of quilt I need to make to use up all those prints I have. Thanks for the link. I thought it was a 9-Patch kind of block but I see in the link that it is much simpler than that. Well done! ;^)
