I saw Gayle's (Mangofeet) squirrel was a six inch Framed Star. That squirrel mutated into a nine inch Framed Star with a three inch Nine Patch center and ran through my sewing room.
Good thing because I've been looking for new and fun ways to use up a lot of three inch Nine Patches that are made with two colors.
A Path and Stiles squirrel came through my sewing room last month and it also uses those cute Nine Patches.
Perhaps the squirrels found their nut in my sewing room!
Great ideas for 9Ps!
ReplyDeleteI like the way you've been able to combine similar-but-not-identical setting fabric for the 9ps. I still have a box of them. (Two boxes: one dark corners, one light corners.)
ReplyDeleteBoth of these are super fun - you and Gayle are such a squirrel-y pair (grin).
ReplyDeleteYour Path and Stiles squirrel has been trying to sneak into my sewing room. It's getting louder and more insistent...
ReplyDeleteVery Cool Blocks!!
ReplyDeleteVery smart squirrels, I'd say! Your blocks are very pretty. ---"Love"
ReplyDeleteGreat squirrels. Really lovely fabric placements.
ReplyDeleteWell you certainly had some fun squirrels come for a visit. Fabulous blocks and fun post. Happy quilting.
ReplyDeleteThese colorful blocks are going to be great quilts soon. Clever you.
ReplyDeleteThat squirrel must have run lickety split to get all the way to you from Gayle. I love the block, but no, no, no, I can't start another project until the Minecraft quilt is done (on block 19 of 20).

Oh my! the squirrels HAVE been busy!
ReplyDeleteThere is one thing about your squirrels. They always turn into a fabulous quilt.
ReplyDeleteThose are some awesome mutant squirrels, Cathy!!!
