Two inch yellow scraps got made into Wedding Rings this week. These finish at 7.5 inches and I now have 127 of them after making them from scraps for a couple of years. My goal is 144 blocks so by year end I hope to meet that goal.
So pretty! I'm planning to use this block to make a quilt for a dear friend who recently got married. It was very low key and only very close family at the wedding due to Covid. So I didn't know about it until after. I prefer this block over the more traditional wedding ring. Thanks for sharing!
You are such a prolific quilter...I love your posts! When you make an abundance of units, such as broken dishes or economy blocks, do you take the time to square them all up before sewing them into a quilt? Your quilts are so scrappy and fun! :)
I love your wedding ring blocks so much that I may just have to break down and do them for RSC’21 (and probably ‘22 and ‘23 as well). Especially if I make 2-inch HSTs instead of 2.5 inch!
Love these.

ReplyDeleteSo many pretty Wedding Ring blocks. The yellow fabrics are awash with happiness.
ReplyDeleteSince yellow is the last color month for RSC2020, will you use multi-colored fabrics for the last blocks you need?
