From Green Scraps

Wedding Rings that finish at 7.5 inches and a couple of 16 patches that finish at 6 inches.

Dark green is the May Rainbow Scrap Challenge (RSC) color of the month for May. I used most of my green scraps in January when the color of the month was light and bright green but I have accumulated a few green scraps since that time so I sewed them all up into blocks for my current RSC projects.
Plus Postage blocks that finish at 10 inches made from 1.5 inch scraps.
Wishing Rings that finish at 3 inches.
Double X Mosaic and Snowballs. Blocks finish at 4 inches.

I think the rest of this month of green I will try to finish a bunch of RSC tops I have in the pile.  I also need to add a scrappy green border to an old UFO.

  4. I think your postage stamp/plus blocks look great in every color! I've got on my list to finish an RSC quilt this month, too.

  5. You did a great job scouting out more Dark GREEN scraps!! I think Plus Postage is my favorite of your RSC blocks. I am SEW looking forward to seeing that quilt come together!

  9. The Plus Postage Stamp blocks are very dramatic. Are you making them in other RSC colour ways?

  12. I missed the first three months of RSC while we were traveling and since it's now mid-May and I still haven't started, I think I will just skip it this year except for some crumb blocks (maybe). I seem to be lacking motivation to do much of anything, but do need to finish a baby quilt, just in case I'm ever able to actually give it to the baby (who only lives next door). The snow the last two days has not helped my enthusiasm. Enough whining. Happy Mother's Day.
