Nice to see you finishing this quilt (those kinds of things don't happen over here...). That was such a great quilt block...very fun to make. I remember the block was originally called Watchamacallit (which I'm not certain how to spell)...but otherwise do you remember its origins?
Needle races! (I love to work that way, too) I've been setting aside bitcoins as I'm cutting down strips for other quilt pieces. Eventually I'll have enough...
