I just made eight more Stone Mason's Puzzle blocks. I'm calling my quilt Serendipity. It is inspired by a vintage quilt. Each block contains at least one blue-green fabric and they are approximately 12 inches finished. If you want more of the back story and how I'm making the blocks it's in my May 9 post.
I now have 28 blocks and my target is 35 blocks for a 5 x 7 setting.
My OMG (One Monthly Goal) for September is to finish 7 more blocks and then sew them into a top.
You come up with such creative quilt blocks, it's always fun visiting your blog. There's never a dull moment in your sewing room. Wishing you a happy day :)

ReplyDeleteSuch great blocks!
ReplyDeleteGreat blocks! Love the blu/green fabrics, there are some beauties.
ReplyDeleteFun blocks. Thanks for linking up with Elm Street Quilts One Monthly Goal and good luck with your project.
ReplyDeleteA wonderful scrappy colourful mix! And I do like how you have include a blue/green fabric in each for continuity, such a good idea to get just a little bit of control over going scrappy!
ReplyDeleteThank you for the clear instructions. I did, however, find myself wondering why not just make it with rectangles and squares. It would be a bit more cutting but without the paper removal.
ReplyDeleteYour quilt is going to be amazing! Thanks for sharing with Moving it Forward.
