In the Hoop

Vintage Thingamajigs has been in the hoop for awhile. I'm about 3/4 finished with the big stitch hand quilting with perle #12.

Getting this quilt to the finish line will be my OMG (One Monthly Goal) for April.

  3. I love this quilt! The red is absolutely perfect with the 1930s scraps. I'm tempted to make one like it. Your hand quilting is just what this old top needs.

  5. That is so pretty! I love the red, too. Do you use a specific kind of thread for big stitch quilting?

  11. Lovely! I have a table runner that I want to Big Stitch on, but have had trouble using the hoop like yours! Any hints? Could my batting be too thick?

  12. I like that your scissors look so pretty with this quilt. Big stitching seems like a good fit for this one.
