I've finished the final five Sunflowers. They will be set on point with Flying Geese sashing. Now I just need to trim up the blocks to 14 inches, make over 400 Flying Geese and figure out what to use for setting triangles.
I love these. I went back through the posts labeled Sunflowers and see that the pattern came from a book and that you did machine piece them. but I didn't find any posts on the beginning of this quilt and the name of the book. It's doubtful I'll ever get around to doing this one, but I would like to check out the pattern. Pat
This is going to be SO pretty!
ReplyDeleteWow--I truly love these blocks--can't wait to see them all together..
ReplyDeleteyou are definitely my "rockstar" quilter...hugs, julierose
Well, sunflowers finished and a mere 400 or so Flying Geese to make. Oh, and some setting triangles........... no problems there then!
ReplyDeleteJust 400 flying geese to make!!!! I'm sure it will be beautiful when it's done. Thank you for linking up with the Peacock Party.

I was wondering how you would use 18 blocks. What direction are you leaning for the setting triangles? Blues? Golds? Looking forward to seeing more!
ReplyDeleteONLY 400 flying geese . . . when you get this sewn together, it will all be worth it!!
ReplyDeleteI'm looking forward to your finish on this one; it is going to be beautiful! ---"Love"
