I work on these blocks for 20 minutes every day. I added 25 blocks to the pile in October. I now have a total of 88 blocks. Each six inch block has 29 pieces. They were inspired by some vintage blocks I saw on Flickr. Yes, I can see a couple of blocks with pieces turned the wrong way. And so it goes.
Don't you love it when a couple sneak in the wrong way round ;-) These blocks are going to make a quilt that will be a feast for the eyes, wonderful!!
ReplyDeleteThese blocks look so vintage, and red always looks good no matter what colors it is paired with.
ReplyDeleteI'm still in love with these blocks! You've got the most gorgeous colors going!
ReplyDeleteWOwsers lots a pieces--good for you..this will be so lovely hugs, Julierose

I'm waiting until January to start on my version of this block for next year's RSC effort. My consistent background is chosen ... and the rest will be SCRAPPY!
ReplyDeleteYou must sew like crazy during those 20minutes each day in order to reach the total of 25 blocks in October. Amazing!
ReplyDeleteI like the wrong 'uns. This is growing beautifully on 20 minutes a day. I'm wondering if that's the way to sneak in an extra project here and there.
ReplyDeleteCathy, you always inspire me to try and use more red!! Love it!
ReplyDeleteIt's such a nice idea to steadily work on something like this 20 minutes at a time. I love your use of RED as the neutral!
