Beautiful little log cabins and great progress! I always get inspired when I visit here. I'll be piecing half square triangles today and maybe sewing on a first border for a medallion quilt top.
Wow - you are so fast! I always enjoy visiting to see what you're up to, but I end up feeling like a slug. Were you always an over achiever? This quilt is going to be adorable. I love miniature blocks.
You really do zip right along! I'm happy with the 30 I've finished so far, but I might end up with a wall quilt or doll quilt. (Haven't decided how far I'm going to chase this squirrel!)
I like seeing your blocks and projects progressing each week. It makes me feel like I'm not alone in the Highly Productive Quilters Club. But I never remember to take photos of the interim steps, probably because I don't take my phone/camera down to the studio with me. By the time I go upstairs to get it, I'm distracted by other chores. Do you keep a camera nearby when sewing?
Unbelievable, so many tiny blocks already. I am making them too. I tried to use the sewing machine, but the blocks didn't turn out square so I am making them by hand. My total is 12 pretty little log cabins. It's very relaxed to make them and the result is very satisfying!
Nice progress and super cute colors in your log cabins! I will not succumb to the call of tiny logs. I will not sew them in a house, I will not sew them with a mouse. I will not sew them here or there. I will not sew them anywhere! Oh look.... squirrel!!
Beautiful little log cabins and great progress!

ReplyDeleteSuch a good way to use up scraps. These must be small blocks. Have fun and keep sharing.

ReplyDelete118! Goodness me. Love the pop of colours the blues and turquoises give th life cost. Really make them shine like little jewels.

Looks great. Makes me want to start one, but I have so many other ideas swirling around in my mind...
ReplyDeleteWow that's great progress! I feel like I shouldn't post about my 42 hourglass blocks so far this week LOL
