Patriotic Ticky-Tackies

Little ticky tackies (houses) all decked out for the Fourth of July.

They are 3 inch (finished) and made of 2 inch scraps.
There's a free pattern if you want to make some. I make Flying Geese for the roofs instead of following the directions with "flippy corners".

They are a lot of fun and very addictive.
More later.

  3. More minis! Since you don't care for miniature quilts, I'm wondering what you will do with them. They would make a cute border for a larger quilt. Hmm...I'm tempted to make some myself now. Thanks for the link.

  4. Cuties! I can think of so many things to do with a bunch of these. Guess I'll have to make a few while humming along with Pete Seeger!

  5. In the starry, fireworky fabrics, a few of these look like rockets, too. Fun little houses!

  6. I was also thinking these would make a cute border on a kids quilt.

  7. There you go infecting the populace again with a cute idea. (I gotta check on getting booster shots. My immunities seem to have worn off...)

  11. Fun! I have quite a few patriotic fabrics in my stash of 5" I Spy fabrics; now I'm thinking that I could upsize the house a bit and make them houses! As always, I'm impressed at the ideas you put together!
