I'm ALMOST caught up on the clues given so far for Alycia's Mystery Quilt *The Patriot*.
This will be a Quilt of Valor when it's finished.
And I am caught up on the clues Libby (Life on the Hill) has given for her Magical Mystery.
Two FQ pairs are supposed to make two different 8 inch blocks - four blocks total. I used 9 FQ pairs so I will end up with a donation quilt with thirty-five blocks (5x7 layout) instead of four orphan blocks.
So, as you see...I'm not totally clueless at the moment!
I'm looking forward to seeing your Quilt of Valor! Those blue fabrics are very pretty, and I know you will have a lovely quilt when it's finished. ---"Love"
ReplyDeleteThat yellow daisy print is one of my alltime favorite fabrics. I like that your blues are all in the same range so I think the scrappiness will definitely work.
ReplyDeleteLook at you go!!!!
ReplyDeleteYour fabrics are so happy and cheerful! The daisy's bring a burst of sunshine to this snowy day!
ReplyDeleteYou gots all the clues!
ReplyDeleteAnd good for you for keeping two mysteries straight!
Do not tempt me with 2 new projects!!
ReplyDeleteI love how you use color and fabric, you don't get caught up in the 'preciousness' of the print, color is the thing.
ReplyDeleteYou've got a good eye for the finish and everything works toward that end.
I liked the idea of using spare parts in a Coins format when you originally wrote about it, and it has turned out a great quilt.
