Green Scraps

March brings a new color for the Rainbow Scrap Challenge. We are supposed to use our bright and light greens and save darks for another month but I'm just using green scraps of any variety this month.

And my first order of scrappy business was to dig into the 3.5 inch scrap box.   I made some six inch bow tie blocks.   They are a project carried over from last year.  I cut the snowballs which also uses 3.5 inch scraps but didn't get them made.

Then I dug into the green chunks (less than a FQ) to make 8  eight inch Oh Susannah! quilt blocks for this month's Block Lotto.

  4. Great blocks! I have so many green bow tie blocks from last year that I’m not sure I’ll make any this month. On the other hand, if I did I could probably do an all-green donation quilt! Your Block Lotto blocks are super!
