The Velveteen Rabbit baby quilt is in the hoop.
(FYI - There really is one Velveteen Rabbit in the quilt).
Sally, of The Objects of Design, calls these Standing Bunnies and has a tutorial for them if you are interested.
I've already used the Standing Bunny tutorial and now I just want to get this hand quilted and in the hope chest and crossed off the UFO list. (You know how rabbits multiply and I don't need any more UFOs at the moment).
My OMG (One Monthly Goal) for May is to completely finish The Velveteen Rabbit.
Bunnies are very cute.....thanks for the link to the tutorials.
ReplyDeleteGood luck!

ReplyDeleteCute bunnies!
ReplyDeleteThis quilt is so cute, I think it will go fast. Have fun!
ReplyDeleteThis has always been one of my favorites of all your quilts. And you have some great ones! It's just so sweet and sentimental. Love it!
ReplyDeleteI've had this block bookmarked for a while but it hasn't risen to the top of the list yet. I am making Sally's sheep blocks for a retirement gift quilt for someone who raises sheep. I'll get to the rabbits one of these days.

Awww....
ReplyDeleteLove it!
I'm already making Sally's chickens and piglets, and eyeing her sheep. Oh, and her bounding bunnies. And her every single design, to be quite honest about it.
How lovely to see this again!
