Pumpkin Peel


Pumpkin Peel
Block 1 of 4. 
It's a 40 inch block.
Ready for applique today! 

I've been saving all of my fall colored scraps that are at least 3 inches long and 1/2 inch wide in gallon baggies sorted into light and dark.   (The smaller than that pieces went into a different place for some fall colored crumb maple leaf blocks at a later date).   I'm not sure I have enough scraps for four blocks yet so just made one for now.

    You're braver than I am. I have the book and this is on my bucket list. Just have to get up the courage to start. Yours is beautiful and I love the fabric you have chosen for the background.

    Your peels look fabulous on that print!
    I've got that book, too, and that quilt is near the top of my list. (We won't discuss how many quilts are actually ON the list...)

    I don't know how you find time to sew so many little pieces together as you do! And they always turn out looking great! I have a question: do you sew ALL the time? I'd have to in order to get that many little pieces together! ---"Love"
