Pumpkin Peel
Block 1 of 4.
It's a 40 inch block.
Ready for applique today!
I've been saving all of my fall colored scraps that are at least 3 inches long and 1/2 inch wide in gallon baggies sorted into light and dark. (The smaller than that pieces went into a different place for some fall colored crumb maple leaf blocks at a later date). I'm not sure I have enough scraps for four blocks yet so just made one for now.

From the book:
You're braver than I am. I have the book and this is on my bucket list. Just have to get up the courage to start. Yours is beautiful and I love the fabric you have chosen for the background.

ReplyDeleteYour block is amazing! I have the book, but haven't had the nerve to make anything from it yet!
ReplyDeleteI don't know how you find time to sew so many little pieces together as you do! And they always turn out looking great! I have a question: do you sew ALL the time? I'd have to in order to get that many little pieces together! ---"Love"
ReplyDeleteIf you are short a few pieces, I know where I could find some for you! I love your pumpkin peels!
ReplyDeleteWow -- that's really beautiful!! Do you paper piece these? I'm really in awe of this project!! :)
