High as a Kite




It's very windy here today. It would be a good day to fly a kite if I had one. I was almost tempted to drive into town to buy one.  

The wind doesn't make it easy to snap any photos of a finished flimsy.

It's a top! 
This is one of my oldest UFOs. 
Blocks were swapped long, long ago. 
Don't know why it has taken me so long to get it together. 


In garden news...a lot of the flower garden paths are covered with lovely blue scilla...


...a few species tulips are blooming here and there...

...and a fairy stands guard near the Hellebore.

    I love your top! You had me at nine patches!
    We've got to wait a bit yet for flowers. Some of my crocuses and daffs are starting to show leaves though, so I'm hopeful!

    I am amazed at your quilting accomplishments. Yes, you seem to have many UFO's but every few days, you have another stunning quilt top to show. Thank you for showing each project as an encouragement to all of us with an abundance of UFO's. Love all the colors/fabrics you use.
