Owls in the Barn Door

It's just a top right now.
I thought it would be clever to shoot the Owls in the Barn Door next to an actual barn door but didn't notice the hunk of crap that blew into the raspberry brambles in front of the barn door. So, I am not as clever or artsy- fartsy as I thought I was.
Anyway...after completed this will go to Camp Hobe, one of this year's Hands2Help Charity Quilt Challenge Charities. Camp Hobe is a summer camp for kids undergoing cancer treatment and their siblings.

Isn't it crazy how we don't see those little extras in our camera until we sit down later and look at the photos . . . been there, done that. Love your quilt top!

ReplyDeleteLOL I love your quilt and fact it has different owl fabrics. Also in awe of the red, blue and yellow together, I am going to pink that idea, as I have just made a quilt the same design, but with different novelty prints. And using white as a background is not a great idea with kids charity quilts, so thats for the inspiration.

ReplyDeleteI love your owl prints and your barn door settings are great at showcasing them. The blue, yellow and green Riley Blake fabric is a particular favourite as I bought a couple of metres a few years ago in the shocking pink/orange/yellow colour way. I have used it in so many baby quilts and I might have the odd 2.5"/3" square left! Boo hoo, I need some more!
