This month the Rainbow Scrap Challenge color is dusty purple or gray with acid green accents.
This week I worked with my 2.5 inch scraps and made some six inch split nine patches which happens to be the Block Lotto block of the month.
I mixed a few purple and gray 2.5 inch scraps and made a couple of 8 inch Depression Blocks.
Finally I made a bunch of little Pyramid Units
WONDERFUL scrappy blocks!!! I have fabrics pulled for my purple mountains majesty blocks for OMMS and for the sixteen patches. I suspect the others will not happen this month as they already have purples from earlier in the year.
ReplyDeleteLove those depression blocks. Such a great assortment of pretty purple and grey.
ReplyDeleteI really like your purples and grays together! They are so different from the purple and yellow we did earlier this year. That gives me some new ideas for my RSC blocks!
ReplyDeleteYour blocks have made me rethink the green accent for August. Looking GOOD in gray (and PURPLE!!!)
ReplyDeleteWow, great blocks! My favorites, as always, are the depression blocks. Way to go!,
ReplyDeleteYour blocks are looking great in purple and gray, love them all. Have a Great Month!

ReplyDeleteYou are working those colors so well in all the projects. Keep up the good work!
ReplyDeleteAll those triangular projects look like bigtime fun to play with! And you always pick the best colors to make them shine, too!
ReplyDeleteGreat blocks! Looking good!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful mix of colors and blocks.
ReplyDeleteI always like seeing your scrappy blocks at the start of a month. You are prompting me to explore traditional blocks more, as I see so many on your blog that I feel drawn to.
ReplyDeleteLove the purple/grey combo in your blocks - they look fabulous. Especially the split 9.-patch
