Pink is the new color of the month for the Rainbow Scrap Challenge.
I have a granddaughter that has loved the color pink since she was old enough to say the word. Without her I probably wouldn't have very many pink scraps.
I dug into the 2.5 scrap bin and made a couple of 8 inch Depression Blocks and a few sprouts. The rest of the 2.5 scraps will have to wait until next week.
I'm looking forward to seeing both of those blocks as quilts someday! The sprouts are going to be especially interesting.
ReplyDeleteNice collection of pinks!
ReplyDeleteWow!! You made quick work of diving into your PINK scraps!! I'm not sure when I will get the chance to do the same. Looking forward to some pretties in PINK of my own!
ReplyDeleteYou DID just find out the July color yesterday, right? And you got this much done already? Wow!!
ReplyDeleteI say it every month--- I really like these depression blocks! They are all fantastic!
It doesn't seem to matter what color they are made in, both the sprouts and the Depression blocks always look great!
ReplyDeleteLove those pink blocks.
ReplyDeleteI am excited about how this quilt is going. One of my favorite combintations is rose. pinks and greens.
ReplyDeleteThose lovely pink sprouts are about to burst into bloom!
ReplyDeleteLovely pink 'Depression' blocks, but I can't be depressed around pink.
ReplyDeleteIt just 'ain't' gonna happen.
How about 'Happy' or Exuberant' blocks or something like that.
(I'm just having fun)
Pink is one of those colours I am growing into - these blocks all have a happy feel to them and I like how the pink glows against the neutrals.
