Orange Snakes

Orange Snakes
I used 2.5 inch orange scraps and the pattern Snake Trails from
Denyse Schmidt: Modern Quilts, Traditional Inspiration

Orange you glad they aren't real snakes?  Yep, me too!

Other orange scrappy projects can be found at the Rainbow Scrap Challenge weekly linkup, ScrapHappy Saturday

  1. That's a fun block Cathy. Isn't it difficult matching the blocks so you don't split the snakes?

  9. so funny to see you say, snakes pattern from Denyse.
I have a quilt like this made by my grandmother for my Dad back in 1940's. I hand quilted it as she left the "flimsy" when she passed.

  12. At least you'd be able to see them really well as they are such bright orange. But yes, I'm glad they are not real.

  13. So glad you are having fun with them, and it looks like they are slithering through mud. It's a good thing they are orange and easy to spot!
