Orange Chains and One Other Thing


This is the last day for orange as the color of the month for the Rainbow Scrap Challenge.  The only RSC project I had left to make was a pair of orange Interlocking Chains. 


And I have a few orange tulips blooming in the flower gardens. I have a difficult time growing tulips because the squirrels like to dig up my bulbs.

    I have never seen an orange tulip. Lovely as are your chain blocks. Love the look - so intricate.

    the tulip has incredible color. I'd love to see it done with those digital programs that sort out all the colors in a picture. Can't remember who they are...LeeAnna

    That's a gorgeous tulip! (If I had tulips, this year's wacky spring yoyo temps would have demolished them anyway, so oh well.)
    Those chain blocks look like a fun puzzle to play with. I'd have to keep one taped to the wall above my sewing machine to remind me which way they spin!

    That is one beautiful tulip! We can grow daffodils by the hundreds, but the tulip bulbs do not survive their first season. We have picky squirrels (grin).

    Nice blocks Cathy. Its too warm here to grow tulips with any degree of success, so I have to be content with some of the other bulbs. Yours is such a beautiful colour.

    A nice finish for your orange blocks. I miss the tulip festival where we lived in Mt. Vernon, WA. They say you can plant them in cages of chicken wire to deter the squirrels. Enjoy what you have.
