A Flimsy of Tulips

Tulips
In 30s reproduction fabrics and Kona Snow
81 x 91
For now it's just a top.

Blocks are nine inches
Not sure when or how it will get quilted.  But it's a top now after all these years. Can't top that!

(The sun was not in the right spot when I took the photos. Well, on second thought, the sun was in the right spot - in the sky. I just don't know how to take photos. So they look sort of sepia-ish).

  1. Sometimes I just want to come over and roll in your scrap bins... (That's not weird, right?)
I always love your happy scrappy quilts!

  3. OMG, what treasures you must have hiding in your house. If we don’t die until our projects are finished, you will live forever, my friend! And if Gayle gets to come over and roll around in your scraps (no, that is NOT weird, Gayle), I would like to as well! We could even help you fond---- er, SORT them. :-) (and do you mean to tell me that Bonnie & Camille didn’t invent the tulip block? LOL) (wink)

  7. This has a lovely feel to it - old-fashioned and gentle, and the little touches of red just lift everything.

  8. Kathy, my first thought was 'oh how wonderful it looks bathed in sunshine'! It's so beautiful and I really love the narrow sashing and tiny squares :)

  11. Well, if this isn't the true colors, you will have to start a vintage tulip quit next.
