What Can Brown Do For You?

Every month when Angela declares the new color of the month for the Rainbow Scrap Challenge  I go to my 2.5 scrap box and pull all of the pieces of that color.  It's kind of fun to see what all is in there in the monthly color.  This month the color is brown.

...and I pulled out these pieces of brown.

Pieces about 22-24 inches long get matched up and made into eight inch kaleidoscope blocks...

... and more kaleidoscope blocks and one 8 inch Depression block...

...and a few 4Ps and then some.

And I have some lozenges (suppositories) cut and have some squares left for a few Twinklers you might see next week.

Got Scraps?
Use them up and join us each ScrapHappy Saturday.

  6. I always love how you dig in and get so much done. Kaleidescopes, 4-patches, lozenges, twinklers ..... I am grateful to get one of my big wonky log cabins done. On the other hand, I am grateful I don`t have that stash box (or one like it) lurking in my house. :-) As always, you really motivate me!! Hugs, C

  7. The kaliedescope blocks are excellent use of the brown with other shades, and I am inspired to make some 4-patches of my own. Thanks for the inspiration.

  16. You were definitely on a roll with your brown blocks - all this in just a couple of days! I wouldn't say I liked brown that much but as is often the case I like it a whole lot better when I see the things other people do with it. I particularly like your kaleidoscope blocks.
