Crumby Stars

Crumbs..."made fabric"...it's all the same thing.

Now that I've made these nine inch blocks using the Tri-Rec ruler I've had in my drawer and used only once before, I think I will make some 18 inch stars using the 6.5 inch pile of crumb blocks I've had sitting around here  in a box waiting for inspiration to strike.

Yes,  I think some 18 inch stars with crumb centers will make some quick, easy and nice donation quilts.

  1. My fav colour is green so loving these! It is fun to use these rulers we've been stashing for ages. It seems we are more courageous with our scraps so that is another great reason to use them. Thanks for linking up with #scraptastictuesday and looking forward to those next blocks!

  2. I also learned the concept as "crumb piecing" ... but it seems to have been replaced by "made fabric." Your stars look great!

  5. This is a GREAT idea! I have a collection of tiny blocks that are made of even tinier scraps and have been searching for a good way to use them. Problem solved.
