I was thinking of using bright colors or batiks with them. I need to find them and get going on them. They are both such easy and fun blocks to make. Thanks for reminding me.mangozzhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05161843244215941676noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3697842410896958739.post-26357871839425554202019-02-23T19:52:09.843-06:002019-02-23T19:52:09.843-06:00Everyone keeps saying that this is the Year of the...Everyone keeps saying that this is the Year of the String quilts, but I think it might really be Garlic Knot Year :)Louisehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06306854459459257368noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3697842410896958739.post-56804972398935641242019-02-23T17:51:32.321-06:002019-02-23T17:51:32.321-06:00I never would have thought of combining the double...I never would have thought of combining the double X with snowball blocks - it looks amazing! Perhaps you have a photographic mind so that seeing one block triggers a memory as a picture in your head? Those Garlic Knots are great - been seeing them in a few blogs (Bonnie Hunter's especially) and they are tempting me!Lindahttp://linda-koshka2quilts.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3697842410896958739.post-27013848228757735322019-02-23T11:05:17.026-06:002019-02-23T11:05:17.026-06:00My head is spinning! Thanks for that! I pinned so many ideas. Like you, I’ve been flirting with garlic knots for ages. I always have lots of 2.5” squares on hand, so that seems a good project to add for me, too. And I love the minty green background on your double cross and snowball project. Snowballs are very versatile alternate blocks, aren’t they?
