Orphan Block Center
Round one with 2.5 inch finished Hourglass blocks.
Round Two with borders and Double Four Patch cornerstones.
Round Three I added a Flying Geese border.
Round Four I added 3 inch Drunkard's Path blocks.
The top is now 42 inches square.
The round three prompt for the Stay at Home Round Robin (SAHRR) 2026 is "Curves".
I am making three comfort quilts using the SAHRR prompts.
Curves - Drunkard's Path blocks with fabric that has curves in it.
Curves - Faux curves in the top of the heart blocks and fabric with curvy hearts.
Curves - Faux curves in the top of the heart blocks and fabric with curvy hearts.
Raggedy Ann and Andy
Round One with 4 inch finished Hourglass blocks.
Round Two - In round one I used Four Patches for the cornerstones. I replaced the cornerstones with Double Four Patches.
Round Three - I added a border to two sides of each top and added Puss in the Corner blocks to the top and bottom of those side borders.
Round Four - I added borders with hearts to the top and bottom.
Both are 36 inches wide and 32 inches in length.
And sew on...
All three quilts are coming along beautifully. The Raggedy Ann and Andy quilts are really cute. My favorite of the three is your Orphan block version. The colors are just so rich in that one.
ReplyDeleteYour curves look great, Cathy--I like the hearts a lot on the two Raggedys--they are just perfect for them...hugs, Julierose
ReplyDeleteLove your interpretation of "Curves". The curves in the corners of the first one is a cute surprise. The eye focus more on the middle blocks then oops, looks at the corner to find a little surprise. LOVE it! The hearts are the kind of curves I can do, lol. All three are coming along so beautifully. Great job! ;^)
ReplyDeleteOMGosh, the hearts in your Raggety Ann quilts is just too adorable.
ReplyDeleteOh my - all 3 of these are awesome. Love those Raggedy Ann/Andy ones especially.
ReplyDeleteAll are once again looking great, and I think the hearts are an extra special touch.

Perfect curves for all three! I like how each quilt is developing!
ReplyDeleteLove those hearts! All three quilts are coming along nicely. I do like how you've included a road map for your purple quilt--great idea!
