In the Hoop


Tulips finally made it to the hoop. It's been sandwiched for a looooong time.  I'm big stitch hand quilting in white #8 perle thread. 


I love 30s reproduction fabrics.  They remind me of grandma's quilts.

It's a lovely summery quilt!
It looks like your quilt is very loose in the frame... is that how you have it when you're quilting?

I love the old-fashioned vibe you've got going on with this one. I've never thought of using white for my quilting, but actually it's a really good idea.
