These Feathers Aren't For My Cap

Put on your sunglasses!

I found a pattern to use up some of my brighter  and long string scraps (about a garbage bag full - most are quilt back trimmings)- Anna Maria Horner's Feather Bed.
Eight blocks down and thirty more to go for a twin sized quilt.  I think I have enough strings. I hope I have enough of that wild feather background.

I'll show you later what I did with the lighter colored strings.

Those bright scrappy feathers are really cute. That will be a neat quilt when you get it done.

There's just no guessing what you'll get up to next, is there?

I love the feathers and the background, super cool. I made feathers a few months back and hope to make some more, I couldn't find a pattern anywhere so made my own pattern, which turned out fine and I had fun making the pattern, but would have saved time with one.lol I just love everything about your feathers. Can't wait to see more.
