Working on the Chain, Gang!

I recently received some 3 inch 9 patches in a swap.
I used the dark ones to add to one of my Jack's Chain quilts.

There's a lot of Y seams but I'm getting the hang of them.

The assembly of this quilt is a little unusual.

I have another section ready to add to the first section but I needed to take a break from Y seams.

Oh wow this quilt is fantastic! Are you machine piecing this? I agree Y seams do get easier with practice but they do take a lot out of you! I love how this quilt is taking a simple nine patch and making them so much more interesting.

This quilt is going to be fantastic when it is finished. After seeing this one on your blog I added it to my list of quilts to make. I do think the Y seams are quite a pain but hopefully they get easier with practice.
